Absorbing Bloom would fit best in a proactive **Steel-heavy control or midrange deck** that already plans to win challenges and banish opposing characters every turn, because its value depends on a steady stream of banishes and it turns that combat advantage into card draw; however, it is fairly conditional and slow for only drawing one card, since it costs 2 Ink up front, then asks you to exert it and spend 1 more Ink, so in many decks it will be worse than more reliable Steel card-draw or tempo tools (for example, **A Whole New World** is generally far stronger card advantage in Steel decks that can use it, and **Strength of a Raging Fire** or other direct interaction often matter more because they are immediate and less setup-dependent), so Absorbing Bloom should only see play if your deck is consistently banishing in challenges and you specifically want a repeatable, on-board draw engine; otherwise, it is likely too narrow and inefficient to be a staple.
