Out of This World!Hello, everyone! In today's article, we'll revisit the Core Constructed format and also the upcoming major event in the format: the second São Paulo DLC, taking place on July 4th and 5th (more information here). We'll be presenting a simple and efficient deck, especially for someone starting out in the game! One thing that has been observed a lot in recent months is the growth of Disney Lorcana, with many new players discovering and falling in love with the game. Therefore, today we'll have the opportunity to present another deck that is not affected by the rotation that will occur with the release of the 13th Set, Attack of the Vine.As a bonus, our deck today will be almost thematic, with several cards related to the Lilo & Stitch universe! Let's go!Amber-Steel Aliens - Budget - Core 2026Our deck today is an Amber-Steel deck, focused on synergies between Alien-type characters, and also a bit on characters like Lilo. Since it was also designed with cost-effectiveness, the deck will not be affected by this year's Rotation in the Core format, and as a bonus, it's at a price that can easily be considered budget. If you're taking your first steps in Disney Lorcana, this deck can be an excellent starting point! Almost all the cards are from the same set, Winterspell, which makes it much easier and gives you a focus to eventually acquire sealed products. We'll present the list, explain the game plan and the role of each card, and also talk about some options if you want to increase the deck's value.Decklist and Game PlanThis is a fast deck, or as it's often called in card games, an Aggro deck. The focus is on making strong early turns, filling the board with characters, and carrying that initial advantage to quickly reach the 20 Lore points needed to win the game.As you can see, there are thirty-two cards that cost 1 or 2 ink, meaning you'll have many possibilities in the first few turns, and you can even adapt to your opponent's deck and match their speed. We'll discuss this further when we address each card separately, later on.This doesn't mean that cards costing more than 3 ink aren't important; on the contrary! They will complement the initial strategy, helping to recover cards in hand, or generating the final Lore points to win a game.In general, the strategy is to develop efficient characters in the early turns, getting ahead on the board. From turns 3-4 onwards, when your hand is empty, use characters that draw cards and maintain the lead, focusing on generating Lore. From turn 6 onwards, the focus is on generating the last points needed to win, before your opponent can take control of the game.Let's then discuss the cards in the deck, grouped by their ink curve, and understand their role.Cost-1 CharactersAt cost 1, we have some characters that will help establish a good starting board, whether for lore generation or to Challenge the opponent's board.Gantu has a requirement to discard a card to be played, but in return you gain a strong 3/3 character for only 1 ink – and of the Alien type, which is quite relevant to the deck. Always plan well what you will discard with Gantu, since the deck does not recover cards from the discard pile.Lilo is our other 1-cost option, and its value in the starting hand is related to two aspects: having a Stitch on turn 2, or having one (or more!) Pudges along with it.Basically, you need to use the initial mulligan – the exchange of cards in your hand before the game starts – quite strategically if you have Lilo - Snow Artist in hand.Pudge, as we mentioned, might seem strange here at cost 1, since he actually costs 2. But you're unlikely to want to pay 2 ink for him, as he's a character with low attributes. Pudge will really shine if you start with a Lilo, since he can be played for free. As explained before, pay close attention to your starting hand and swap cards accordingly to maximize both Lilo and Pudge!Cost-2 CharactersAt cost 2, we continue the idea of presenting synergistic characters that help keep the board under control, with good lore generation.Lilo - Bundled Up is the second Lilo option in the deck, and this one is harder to remove from the board using only challenges or cards that deal damage. We also have our two Stitch options at cost 2: Stitch - High Badness Level, which you'll prefer in matches where you need to challenge your opponent's board, and Stitch - Alien Dancer, which has a bit more Willpower, but no abilities, serving mostly for synergies with Lilo. Finally, we have Angel, which can be either a cost 2 or a cost 1, thanks to the Underdog ability. It has this dual role in the deck, so remember the option of playing it on the first turn, when you don't start the match. And as a bonus, another Alien character for the deck!Cost-3 CharactersAt cost 3, these characters bring some unique advantages to expand the advantage you built in the early turns.Gigi is the most important character if you're in a game where you constantly need to challenge your opponent's board, as she can easily make positive trades. Her high willpower helps maintain a board advantage even after an initial challenge with a weaker character.Nani and Pleakley help recover cards, with Pleakley being the first character with an ability directly linked to the Alien type. If you're preparing a Pleakley on turn 3, remember to play an Alien character in the previous turns!Nani is practically a staple of the Amber color, and with 28 characters costing 2 or less in the deck, she will rarely fizzle – although, of course, it sometimes happens. Nani can be especially useful for finding cards like Pudge, when you already have a Lilo; Or a Stitch, to accompany your Lilo - Snow Artist, and so on.Finally, Lilo - Best Explorer Ever is another tool that allows you to surprise an opponent who has a ton of defensive characters. Lilo can completely change the challenges' math, allowing a smaller board to trade positively with several of the opponent's characters. As a bonus, her synergy with Alien characters can help you keep the board under further control, since not even the opponent's Ready characters are safe!Cost-4+ CharactersAt Cost-4 or higher, we have characters whose mission is basically to finish the job, that is, to generate the final Lore points to win a game.Grand Councilwoman has excellent defensive stats and generates three Lore. The opponent will need to deal with her as soon as possible, which can give you time to develop other characters, or even indirectly protect minor characters.Dr. Hamsterviel and Jumba Jookiba may seem absurd at their cost of 8, but in reality they will hardly cost that much. Both interact well with the low-cost characters in the deck, and therefore end up being played for much less ink than the 8 printed on the card. Of course, keep in mind that you don't want to see them in your starting hand, so plan accordingly. In the worst case scenario, since both are inkable, you can simply use them as the ink for the turn, if you assess that you will hardly play them in the next few turns.InteractionsLast, but not least, we have two interactions to deal with the opponent's board without relying on challenges.Fire the Cannons! is an efficient response to low-cost threats, such as Grandmother Willow - Ancient Advisor. Being non-inkable, it doesn't have the option to be converted into ink in matches where it's not very efficient, but it can still be discarded for Gantu - Hamsterviel's Accomplice.Strength of a Raging Fire is a great way to abuse the various low-cost characters in the deck, and the song can easily deal with the opponent's larger characters. As a bonus, Angel - Siren Singer or any character costing 3+ in the deck can sing, thus saving a lot of ink!Non-Budget UpgradesIf you're not too restricted by prices, Angel - Experiment 624 can greatly help the deck, probably replacing some copies of Fire the Cannons! or Grand Councilwoman - Galactic Authority. Angel is very good, and the discard ability not only helps in board control, but also due to its synergy with Dr. Hamsterviel - Infamous Scientist.Speaking of discard, if you're not too concerned about rotation, Lilo - Escape Artist is an excellent option, probably replacing other Lilo cards in the deck, such as Lilo - Best Explorer Ever or some copies of the others. Lilo - Escape Artist is a constant threat, and on top of that, it generates 2 Lore, making it a huge advantage in longer matches.ConclusionAnd that was our deck for today! If you're looking for an option that escapes the 2026 Core Constructed rotation, or if you're starting out with Disney Lorcana and want a simple and easy-to-assemble option (the entire deck base is in Winterspell), I hope you enjoyed it!As always, leave your feedback in the comments below.Cheers, and until next time!
