Pegasus – Searching High and Low fits best in aggressive or midrange Ruby decks that want evasive pressure to close games, especially alongside other Evasive threats to strain an opponent’s limited answers to flying characters. As a 6-cost Character with Evasive, it can be strong in metas where removal is scarce or where opponents rely heavily on ground-based challengers, but Ruby already offers more impactful top-end options like Maleficent – Monstrous Dragon (direct removal and strong board impact) or Maui – Hero to All (excellent board control and trading power), which generally provide more immediate value and swing potential. Because Pegasus mainly offers evasive pressure without strong additional effects for its cost, it tends to be less efficient compared to those staples, so while it can see niche play in Evasive-focused or thematic builds, it is usually outclassed in competitive Ruby decks.
