Hidden Inkcaster would be beneficial in a deck focused on card draw and maintaining a full hand, making it ideal for control or combo decks that rely on having a variety of options available. While it provides a nice card draw effect, other cards like Arcane Scholar or Mystic Scribe may offer better value in terms of card advantage. However, Hidden Inkcaster could still see play in decks looking to capitalize on the Unexpected Treasure effect to enable synergies with cards that care about specific card types or attributes in hand.
